Chivas: The Blend

Through my work with the projects*, I was recently involved in curating a two-month series of cultural talks and interviews at Chivas' pop-up space, The Blend, in east London. Over the eight weeks we had guests including Acyde, Tremaine Emory, Reggie Yates, chefs Jeremy Lee and Jackson Boxer, writers Dan Davies, Camilla Way and David Nicholls, photographers Ewen Spencer, Paul Hallam, Nina Manandhar and Derek Ridgers and artists Bafic and Jonathan Yeo.

BBC World Service Weekend

I was recently a guest on the BBC World Service's Weekend programme, alongside artist Aowen Jin, talking about the French elections, masculinity, Chinese art and more.

Cancer, cannabis and the search for a cure

My long investigative feature on Britain's network of cancer patients and the dealers, doctors and scientists who are helping them self-medicate with cannabinoids ran in the most recent issue of Raconteur, the high-end current affairs mag. My long interview with groundbreaking artist BAFIC is in the debut issue of CASEBOOK, the beautiful visual culture magazine from the people at Topsafe. There was a fun party at the ICA to launch it.

DJing at Merchants Tavern

The new issue of Supplement - edited by myself and Alex Rayner - is out now. It's like an art gallery on paper, and features Robert Mapplethorpe, Dennis Morris and Megan Eagles among others.
