Chivas: The Blend

Through my work with the projects*, I was recently involved in curating a two-month series of cultural talks and interviews at Chivas' pop-up space, The Blend, in east London. Over the eight weeks we had guests including Acyde, Tremaine Emory, Reggie Yates, chefs Jeremy Lee and Jackson Boxer, writers Dan Davies, Camilla Way and David Nicholls, photographers Ewen Spencer, Paul Hallam, Nina Manandhar and Derek Ridgers and artists Bafic and Jonathan Yeo.

BBC World Service Weekend

I was recently a guest on the BBC World Service's Weekend programme, alongside artist Aowen Jin, talking about the French elections, masculinity, Chinese art and more.

Cancer, cannabis and the search for a cure

My long investigative feature on Britain's network of cancer patients and the dealers, doctors and scientists who are helping them self-medicate with cannabinoids ran in the most recent issue of Raconteur, the high-end current affairs mag. DJing at Merchants Tavern

I've been DJing more on the wonderful vinyl-only soundsystem at Merchants Tavern in Shoreditch. Next set due December 23rd. Pop down for dub/disco/balearic goodness.

New magazine launched: SUPPLEMENT

First copies back of SUPPLEMENT, the new magazine I'm launching with Tom Lardner & Christopher West of PLUS AGENCY and Alex Rayner. It's like an art gallery made of paper and features Stacy Martin (fresh from JG Ballard's High Rise), Deborah Turbeville, Katherine Bernhardt, Albert Watson, Rashid Johnson and long essays on the happiness industry and suburban muscle culture.
